As a Licensed Midwife and Certified Professional Midwife, I provide prenatal, birth, and postpartum care for healthy women who are planning to have their babies in the comfort and privacy of their own home.
For healthy women, Homebirth with a trained midwife has been clearly demonstrated to be as safe as hospital birth. In many ways, it can be a safer option, particularly regarding avoidance of unnecessary medications, episiotomy, and cesarean section.
